Where is my crawl data and audit history stored?
Locally on your computer. Crawled URLs, response headers, metadata issues, and reports are saved to local SQLite database files. CheapCrawler does not upload your crawl data to external servers or cloud services as part of local crawling.
How do the local AI metadata fixes work?
You can connect CheapCrawler to local Ollama models, such as Llama 3 or Mistral, for offline AI generation. Alternatively, you can supply your own API key (BYOK) for OpenAI, Gemini, or Claude in Settings. External API use sends the prompt and data you choose to the selected provider, subject to that provider's terms.
