1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and Serplora ("we", "us", or "our"). These Terms govern your access to and use of serplora.com, our suite of online tools located at /online-tools/, customer workspaces, and related software solutions including CheapCrawler.
By creating an account, running an audit, purchasing a license, or entering a retainer agreement with Serplora, you signify your agreement to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Description of Services
Serplora operates in two primary capacities:
- Software & Online Utilities: Free and subscription-based web audit utilities (including Bulk HTTP Status Code Checker, Sitemap URL Extractor, and the CheapCrawler SEO spider) designed to help webmasters audit website architecture, verify canonical tags, and troubleshoot indexation issues.
- Agency Growth Retainers: Tailored engineering and marketing services including search visibility optimization, paid advertising campaigns, web development, app store optimization, and technical SEO sprints.
3. Accounts & Authentication
Access to authenticated tools and client portals requires verification via email One-Time Password (OTP). You agree to:
- Provide an accurate, functional email address that you are authorized to access.
- Maintain the security of your email inbox, as login links and OTP codes grant direct access to your account and subscriptions.
- Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access or security breaches involving your account.
4. Acceptable Use & Crawler Policy
Serplora provides powerful network scanning, crawling, and analysis capabilities. To protect target websites and maintain edge service integrity, you strictly agree to the following Acceptable Use rules:
- Authorized Auditing: You represent that you either own, control, or have explicit permission to test and crawl the URLs and domains you submit to Serplora tools.
- No Denial of Service (DoS): You may not use Serplora's web utilities or desktop software to execute distributed denial of service attacks, flood third-party web servers with malicious request volumes, or intentionally degrade external server availability.
- Robots.txt & Server Courtesy: When running large-scale crawls via CheapCrawler or custom automated scripts, you must adhere to sensible request concurrency and respect target site
robots.txt crawl-delays. - No Reverse Engineering: You agree not to decompile, reverse engineer, intercept, or attempt to derive the source code of Serplora's proprietary algorithms, edge workers, or parsing engines.
- Automated Abuse: You may not use unauthorized bots or headless scrapers to bypass Serplora's user interface rate limits or abuse free utility quotas.
We reserve the right to throttle, limit request concurrency, or permanently terminate access for any account found violating these acceptable use terms.
5. Subscriptions & Commercial Retainers
A. Software Licenses & Subscriptions
Software products such as CheapCrawler are offered on subscription or perpetual license models as specified during checkout. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing interval (monthly or annually) unless canceled prior to the renewal date via your Account Dashboard.
B. Agency Retainers & Development Sprints
Client retainers (e.g., Search Engine Growth, Paid Ads, Web Development) are governed by specific service agreements outlining deliverables, engineering allocations, and monthly fees. Invoices are due upon issuance or on agreed calendar cycles. Detailed cancellation and refund terms for all services are set forth in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
6. Intellectual Property
- Serplora Assets: All trademarks, design assets, website copy, proprietary source code, software architecture, UI components, and methodologies remain the exclusive intellectual property of Serplora.
- User Data & Output Ownership: You retain complete ownership of the domain assets, content, and data records you submit. Reports, spreadsheets, and audit outputs generated through your use of the tools are your property to download, modify, and distribute.
7. Disclaimers & Ranking Warranties
Crucial Search Industry Disclosure: Serplora provides search visibility consulting, engineering, and diagnostic software. Search engines (such as Google, Bing, and AI search engines) frequently adjust ranking algorithms, quality metrics, and indexation rules independently of any third party.
- "As Is" Basis: All tools, software, diagnostics, and documentation are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
- No Guaranteed Positions: Serplora expressly disclaims any guarantee that following our audits, utilizing our tools, or engaging our services will result in specific search ranking positions, specific traffic volumes, or immediate financial returns.
- Third-Party Platform Dependencies: We are not liable for changes, suspensions, or policy enforcement actions enacted by third parties including Google, Meta, Cloudflare, or Apple.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Serplora, its directors, employees, or contractors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data loss, business interruption, or server downtime arising out of or in connection with your use of our services or tools.
Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you to Serplora during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to liability.
9. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to our services immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms, engage in abusive crawling practices, or fail to satisfy payment obligations. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team or discontinuing use of the platform.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Serplora operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Parties agree to resolve any dispute, controversy, or claim through good-faith negotiation before initiating formal legal proceedings.
If you have any questions about these Terms of Service, please reach out to our legal and support team:
1. Overview & Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Serplora ("we", "our", or "us") collects, stores, processes, and protects personal information gathered through our website (serplora.com), online SEO utilities (/online-tools/), customer account dashboards, and related software applications including CheapCrawler.
By accessing or using Serplora's website or tools, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please discontinue use of our services.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in three ways: information you provide directly, data gathered automatically through platform usage, and permissions granted via third-party integrations.
A. Information You Provide Directly
- Account & Sign-In Data: When you sign in to Serplora or access your client workspace, we collect your email address. We use a passwordless One-Time Password (OTP) system; we never store user passwords.
- Support & Communications: If you open a support ticket or contact our help desk at /support, we collect your name, email address, Client ID or software license identifier, and any attachments or messages you provide.
- Billing & Transaction Details: For subscription services (such as CheapCrawler or agency retainers), billing transactions are handled directly by PCI-compliant payment gateways (e.g., Stripe). Serplora does not collect or store full credit card numbers or banking secrets.
B. Information Collected Automatically
- Audit & Telemetry Input: URLs, domains, or sitemap links that you submit to tools like our Bulk Status Code Checker or Sitemap URL Extractor are processed in real-time to return HTTP status codes, headers, and metadata.
- Local Browser Storage: To prevent data loss when you refresh or navigate between tools, Serplora stores audit history and interface state (e.g., sidebar collapse preferences) locally on your device via
localStorage. This data remains on your machine until you manually click "Clear History" or purge your browser data. - Log & Network Data: Our edge infrastructure (hosted via Cloudflare) automatically logs standard network requests, including IP address, browser type, referring URLs, operating system, and request timestamps to prevent abuse and DDoS attacks.
3. Google User Data & OAuth Limited Use Policy
Serplora offers an automated integration allowing users to export audit rows and status reports directly into their personal or Google Workspace accounts via Google Sheets.
Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance:
Serplora's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the
Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically regarding Google OAuth credentials and scopes:
- Exact Purpose: We request Google OAuth permissions strictly to create a new spreadsheet in your Google Drive and write the output records (such as HTTP response codes, redirect chains, and URLs) requested by you.
- No Secondary Use: Serplora does not read, access, modify, or delete any other files, folders, or spreadsheets in your Google Drive. We do not use Google user data for advertising, machine learning model training, or unauthorized analytics.
- No Data Sharing: Your Google tokens are maintained client-side in memory during the export sequence and are never stored in a central Serplora database, transferred to third parties, or sold.
4. How We Use Your Information
We process your information strictly for legitimate commercial and operational purposes, including:
- Authentication & Account Management: Issuing one-time login codes to verify account ownership and sync your subscribed tools and services.
- Service Delivery: Running requested crawls, status checks, sitemap parsing, and spreadsheet generation.
- Customer Support: Responding to client service requests, technical debugging, and campaign inquiries.
- Security & Abuse Prevention: Enforcing rate limits on public tools, mitigating malicious automated scraping, and securing edge servers.
- Compliance: Fulfilling accounting, tax, and legal obligations related to commercial software and client retainers.
5. Data Storage & Retention
We retain personal account records only for as long as your account remains active or as required by applicable commercial and tax regulations.
- Account Records: Email records and active subscription seats are retained until you request account deletion.
- Client-Side Audit Cache: Telemetry lists, crawl queues, and historical runs displayed in the "Recent Audits" modal are stored in your device's browser memory. You can permanently erase this data at any time by clicking "Clear History" inside the modal.
- Edge Logs: Transient server access logs are automatically discarded within standard rotation cycles (typically 30 days) unless retained for ongoing security investigations.
6. Third-Party Sub-Processors
We work with trusted third-party service providers to deliver infrastructure, analytics, and billing:
| Provider | Purpose | Location |
| Cloudflare | Edge hosting, CDN, DDoS mitigation, and DNS routing | Global / USA |
| Google Cloud / Google Workspace | Optional OAuth export to Google Sheets and Tag Manager | USA |
| Paddle.com | Merchant of Record, payment processing, tax remittance, and invoicing | UK / Global |
| Stripe | Payment processing, recurring subscription billing, and invoicing | USA / Global |
7. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR & CCPA/CPRA)
Depending on your jurisdiction (including the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and California), you hold specific statutory rights regarding your personal information:
- Right of Access & Portability: You may request a machine-readable copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to Rectification: You may ask us to update or correct inaccurate or incomplete account records.
- Right to Erasure ("Right to Be Forgotten"): You may request that we delete your account and associated personal data, subject to legal recordkeeping obligations.
- Right to Restrict or Object to Processing: You may object to the processing of your data under specific conditions.
- Non-Discrimination: We will never discriminate against you, alter pricing, or deny service quality for exercising your privacy rights.
To exercise any of these rights, please open a ticket through our Support Help Desk or email our compliance team at [email protected]. We respond to all verified requests within statutory timeframes (30 days for GDPR).
8. Data Security
We implement enterprise-grade technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. All traffic between your browser and Serplora is encrypted using modern TLS/HTTPS. Authentication operates via short-lived, cryptographically secure OTP tokens. Our infrastructure uses isolated Cloudflare edge workers with strict origin isolation.
If you have any questions, concerns, or complaints regarding this Privacy Policy or our data protection practices, please contact us:
1. Policy Overview
At Serplora, we believe in fair, transparent, and straightforward commercial relationships. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the exact terms under which refunds, license cancellations, and billing terminations are processed for:
- Digital Software Products: Desktop licenses and features for CheapCrawler.
- Software Subscriptions (SaaS): Recurring monthly or annual plans for online tools and premium crawler capacity.

2. CheapCrawler & Software Licenses
We encourage all users to test our free web tools and free preview capabilities before purchasing commercial licenses.

- Ineligibility Criteria: Refunds cannot be issued after the 14-day window has expired, or in cases where target websites actively block automated crawling via Cloudflare Turnstile, CAPTCHA, or IP rate-limiting beyond software control.
3. Recurring SaaS Subscriptions
For monthly or annual tool subscriptions:
- Cancel Anytime: You may cancel your subscription at any time without fees or penalties. Cancellations can be triggered self-service inside your Account Subscriptions page, or by submitting a ticket at /support.
- Continued Access: When you cancel a subscription, your paid access remains active through the end of your current paid billing period. You will not be charged again.
- No Partial-Month Pro-Rata Refunds: Unless required by local consumer legislation, we do not issue partial refunds for unused days within an already-billed monthly cycle once active.
- Annual Plans: If you cancel an annual plan within thirty (30) days of initial purchase or renewal, you may request a refund minus the standard single-month rate for the time elapsed.
4. Agency Retainers & Development Sprints
Professional service engagements (such as ongoing SEO growth retainers, paid advertising campaigns, and custom web development) represent dedicated engineering hours, strategy sessions, and asset creation:
- Cancellation Notice: Client retainers may be cancelled by either party with thirty (30) days' written notice prior to the start of the next billing cycle.
- Completed Work: Fees paid for engineering hours, completed development sprints, technical audits, or ad management services already delivered are non-refundable.
- Pre-paid Retainer Balances: In the event of early termination with mutual consent, any unallocated advance retainer funds for work not yet initiated will be credited back to the client.

To request a refund or cancellation, follow these simple steps:

7. Chargebacks & Fair Resolution
If you experience an unrecognized charge or billing dispute, we strongly urge you to contact our support team at /support or email [email protected] before filing a payment chargeback with your bank.
We resolve billing discrepancies promptly. Unwarranted chargebacks lead to automated account freezes and license revocation while the banking dispute is under formal review.
1. What Are Cookies & Web Storage?
Cookies are small data files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, remember user sessions, and provide usage reporting to site operators.
In addition to traditional HTTP cookies, modern web applications utilize HTML5 Web Storage (localStorage). Unlike cookies, items stored in localStorage remain strictly on your local computer, are not transmitted over the network with every server request, and have larger capacity for caching diagnostic records.
2. Why Serplora Uses Them
We classify our browser storage usage into three clear categories:
- Strictly Necessary: Essential for platform security, user authentication, and page navigation. Without these, you cannot log in to your account or access paid software subscriptions.
- Functionality & Preferences: Remembers your preferred interface settings (such as whether the tools navigation sidebar is expanded or collapsed) and caches recent audit runs locally so you don't lose queue progress if you accidentally refresh the page.
- Analytics & Performance: Helps us understand how our tools and articles are accessed so we can optimize performance and resolve page errors.
3. Inventory of Cookies & Local Storage
The following table lists the primary cookies and local storage keys used across Serplora:
| Identifier | Type | Purpose | Duration |
| Session Cookie | HTTP Cookie (Secure) | Maintains cryptographic authentication token when logged in via email OTP. | Session / 30 days |
cc_logged_in | Local Storage | Client-side flag to immediately display "My Account" instead of "Login" without page flicker. | Persistent |
serplora_tools_sidebar_collapsed | Local Storage | Remembers whether you collapsed or expanded the left sidebar in /online-tools/. | Persistent |
serplora_status_history | Local Storage | Caches your recent status code audit runs so you can review them in the "Recent Audits" modal. | Persistent (Erasable via "Clear History") |
Google Tag Manager (_ga, _gid) | HTTP Cookie | Anonymous site telemetry to monitor page load performance, errors, and aggregate traffic. | Up to 2 years |
4. Third-Party Integrations
A. Google Tag Manager
We implement Google Tag Manager (container ID GTM-P429VL4K) to measure general platform health and user journeys. This service collects aggregated, anonymized metrics and does not associate browsing activity with your personal email account.
B. Google Sheets OAuth Client
When you choose to export audit reports to Google Sheets, your browser loads Google's official identity script (https://accounts.google.com/gsi/client). Google sets temporary authorization tokens necessary to connect with your Google Drive. Serplora does not retain or log these third-party Google cookies.
5. How to Control & Clear Storage
You have complete control over cookies and browser storage on your device:
- Browser Settings: You can configure your browser (Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge) to reject cookies, alert you before receiving a cookie, or delete existing cookies upon browser close.
- Purging Audit History: Inside our online tools, opening the "History" modal and clicking the Clear History button immediately purges all locally saved audit runs from your computer.
- Clearing Web Storage: You can wipe all Serplora preferences anytime by clearing your browser's site data or cache under Developer Tools > Application > Local Storage.
Note: Disabling essential cookies may prevent you from logging in, accessing your account billing portal, or using authenticated tool features.
6. Policy Updates & Inquiries
We may periodically update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our technology or legal requirements. When updates occur, the "Effective" date at the top of this page will be revised.
For any questions regarding our use of cookies or local data storage, please visit our Help Desk or contact our technical team at [email protected].
